The outdoors has always called my name. Since childhood I was out in the yard playing with my sisters in the flowers, with the bee's, collecting rocks and absolutely mesmerized by nature.  Learning that precious little seeds could grow into something as large and impressive as a tree blew my mind, and it still does; that we can cultivate fruit and other resources from what the Lord has created is divine. 

 

My dad began growing vegetables in the limited space we had in our yard, on the side of the house, where ever he could get some seeds in the ground. He grew this huge zucchini like I had never seen before,  it was eye opening, inspiring, and has led me to cultivate much vegetables in my own gardens as I have grown into a seasoned gardener. It's the kind of thing I desire to share with others.​​
